What makes that the most important? All the good works in the world doesn't get you to heaven without salvation (if that's your goal). If not then it's just another secular reasoning. Nothing wrong with having good intentions, just don't misrepresent why you're doing it. If any person tries to convince you that doing good works by itself gets you to heaven after you die is lying to you.

Tell me where in God's law we are told that people have a right.to more money? There are 8 billion people in the world and most of them eat plenty, have a roof over their heads, and clothes to wear. If they want more then they are welcome to apply to immigrate to the States or various other wealthy countries. Or they can stay and build their own economy. Letting people in unvetted has resulted in many citizens being harmed. The right to live in safety is every citizen's right.

If your goal after you die is to get to heaven then nothing is more important than making sure you are going there; and no good work alone will get you there. You must first be saved through Christ. Once you have secured that then you can do all the good works that is His plan for you.

Well then all I have to say is good luck if he is the person you look to for your guidance in life (and afterlife). If it makes you satisfied with life then enjoy, but do realize that if true heaven or salvation is what you seek then you are not going to achieve it his way. The teachings in the bible are literal when it comes to salvation but if you wish to dismiss it then do it the secular way.
