LOCAL 42 Disgraceful ethics

IBT local 42 president Joe Benevento allows the Lynnfield UPS to Keep part time employees classified as part time after a year of driving full time delivering. Employees are powerless to this miss-classification that results in complicated pay roll errors and PTO discrepancies.

The contract says no part timers can drive package cars. It also says part timers from inside building going to full time driver will have all their part time PTO paid out when they make seniority. The president of Local 42 allowed the Lynnfield center manager to use guys as drivers full time for a year who just now find out they are still coded part time

Doesn't the New England supp allow for TCDs? Aren't TCDs technically PT employees?

Yes the New England supplement does allow part timers to TCD. And also accrue full time progression when they aren’t driving and when they make book their seniority back dates to when they first went driving.
