Make sure you meet the qualifications. Overtime is not common. Every mechanic hired says ups has the best pay.

Meh. Did 17+ years from 6 to 2:30 am.

Overtime occurs regularly for me up to 10 per day, but not usually. I average about 42 a week these days.

Pay and benefits make it worth it. Can be frustrating and at times lots of pressure to keep the trucks in the lineup.

As far as overtime goes... It depends on the shop. This time of the year it is on and off,right now it's up to 1.5 per day.
