Liberals think they are getting the whole picture......but ABC, NBC & CBS have decided not to broadcast Anne Romney's speech at the convention.

I think that's pathetic!

NBC News was one of the first to learn of the death of astronaut Neil Armstrong on Saturday, but instead announced the death of astronaut Neil… Young.
“Astronaut Neil Young, first man to walk on moon, dies at age 82,” read the NBC News headline shortly after 3 pm EST, which was tweeted out and picked up by thousands of others before it was changed.
As a refresher, Neil Young is a 66-year-old rock star who is very much alive.

From Politico:
Yahoo News has fired Washington bureau chief David Chalian after he was caught on a hot-mic during an online video broadcast today saying that Mitt Romney and his wife Ann had no problem with African Americans suffering as a result of Hurricane Isaac.

“They’re not concerned at all. They’re happy to have a party with black people drowning,” Challian said during the ABC News/Yahoo News webcast, in reference to the fact that the GOP convention in Tampa is taking place as Hurricane Isaac makes landfall on the north Gulf coast.

UPDATE (1:30 p.m.): Yahoo News confirms:

“David Chalian’s statement was inappropriate and does not represent the views of Yahoo!. He has been terminated effective immediately. We have already reached out to the Romney campaign, and we apologize to Mitt Romney, his staff, their supporters and anyone who was offended.”

Carney's predecessor, Gibbs, called the GOP convention night "strange & angry".

That would make him weird & strange because 89% of news today say Mrs. Romney and Christie were not into bashing at all.

GAO Says Obama Admin Evaded Law on Welfare Waivers; CNN, CBS, ABC All Ignore

Earlier this week, the GAO said the Obama administration evaded the law by waiving welfare requirements, but CNN failed to mention the report. Neither CBS nor ABC reported it as well.

According to the GAO, the administration's directive issued in July “is subject to the requirement that it be submitted to both Houses of Congress and the Comptroller General before it can take effect.” Thus, the Obama administration, by law, should have submitted it to Congress for review first, under the Congressional Review Act (CRA).
The GAO added that “while HHS may have informally notified the Congressional committees of the issuance of the Information Memorandum, informal notification does not meet the reporting requirements of the CRA.”
For a little background, Obama's HHS released a directive in July gutting welfare reform by waiving the work requirements at the heart of the law, which were specifically meant not to be removed.

As the Heritage Foundation's Robert Rector – who helped craft the original law – wrote, the HHS memorandum "replaces those work requirements with new, vague standards devised by HHS without any congressional input, such as 'employment exits' and 'universal engagement'."

Thus, the Obama administration changed existing law without properly notifying the Legislative Branch first. Yet neither CNN nor CBS or ABC reported this important piece of information.

CNN did, however, find time to "fact-check" Mitt Romney's claims that Obama "gutted bipartisan reform as we know it." Reporter Tom Foreman's conclusion on Wednesday was that while "maybe" some people could now get a break from work requirements and thus "thwart" the effort to move more welfare recipients to work, there's no evidence that Obama's intention was to "gut" the law..

"So did the White House kill this thing off?" he asked before answering "No. It did not."

Did you protest, in an equally fervent manner, when the younger Bush (#43) walked all over a bunch of just about everything?

This is a specious argument.

Look, if it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander.

Hannity is a right wing commentator -no one should argue that he is not.

Hannity recently had noted NEWS reporter Tom Brokaw on and spoke about media bias. Tom laughed with glee when Hannity commented that years ago the big three networks had a monopoly on the reporting of news.

Tom denied that there is media bias and went on to explain that when he was reporting civil rights news many years ago he was called vile and racist names .
He said to Hannity but I was right on civil rights !! Therfore my reporting the way I did was not biased.

While no one can deny his beliefs were right on civil rights --you can see why Liberal news people are biased.

They are so sure their "personal" beliefs are 100% correct on every subject --war, gay marriage, abortion ---that is impossible for them to be "biased"

Tom will never and could not understand --that REPORTING NEWS EVENTS ---does not mean supporting either side.:wink2:

So who is there at Fox that is an anchorman but not showing media bias to the right? Because everytime I watch Fox "News" it sure feels like there isn't a whole lot of difference with their commentary.
