Even at the American Legion hall, they do that after the parade and ceremonies.
As you know I'm a member of that "gang" known as the PGR.
With the exception of a parade in a city 2 hours south we've not had one invite for our presence, not one.
It's said that covid is to blame.....

This covid crap is getting real old.

He who laughs last didn't get it.
Im pretty sure youre supposed to
Run 1 mile
100 pullups
200 pushups
300 air squats
Run 1 mile
With weighted vest.
(No breaking up pull/push/squat)
Im pretty sure thats what he did for pt while deployed.

Anyways, crossfit is gay, but this seems like fun.

Recognize Memorial Day by completing Murph. Murph is a CrossFit workout you can do anywhere to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28th, 2005.

The workout is 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats (body weight or weighted vest).

Break up the workout how you like. I typically do:

10 pullups
20 pushups
30 squats

Repeat 10x. If time or ability is an issue, spread it throughout the day to make it easier. Find peace and gratitude in the suffering.

Pretty sure I would meet the good Lt if I attempted that.

It's sad that many people think Memorial Day is a three day weekend to drink cold beer and eat hot dogs.

What better way to show appreciation for the sacrifice made by others than to exercise and celebrate the freedom they laid down their lives for?
