I just read that some other submersible that can go to 16000 feet is standing by somewhere. Why in the world wouldnt they get it there and send it down to look at the wreck site?

It would probably take too long for the other sub to get there. Sounds like a meaningless goodwill gesture.

Probably because they're not sitting ready right off the Newfoundland coast. They could be anywhere in the world and it would take significant time, money and effort to get to the Titanic location.

28. I spent a lot of time being watched by the boobtube growing up, have a kid brother, and I got a really good memory. SpongeBob also is very memeable.
