It’s an interesting take. I still think liberals are missing some key element in their brain which prevents rational thought.
I think liberals are capable of rational thought but the part of it that I relate to is like a fossil that I'm continuously trying to chip out of a rock face.
firstly, alot of james camerons movies are left wing if not all of them. for example terminator 2 was partly about activists stopping nuclear weapons. aliens was a critique on corporations and imperialism i believe. avatar was partly about imperialism and environmental degredation.
then james even says this movie is partly about a civilization collapsing
