Yes, yes he did. and 1/3 of the stimulus bill that the right wing hates so much was tax cuts. Which most economists don't consider particularly stimulative....

In the reality-based world, taxes are at the lowest level in 50 years. Try getting the GOP to admit that thought.

In a reality-based world, spending is at what level???

Just where exactly do you see OBAMA with a 1% point lead over Romney nationally??

These are the currently polling averages as of this morning. Romney has lost -4 points to OBAMA and the NATIONAL AVERAGE is at 3.3%. You could be called alot of things other than libertarian, but being informed on polls didnt make the short list.

Obamas lead in swing states is growing and Romneys hopes of "3 2 1" is coming apart. As i told the other polling guru who thinks he has it all figured out, by the end of the week, OBAMA should be well outside the margin of error given this horrible week for Romney.

The GOP's only hope at this point would be for Romney to step aside and Paul Ryan to elevate to nominee and bring along Marco Rubio. Thats a real reset, not this obliteration of a campaign that Romney is running.

Actually rasmussen shows 46-45 obama. You can go to rasmussens website to get those numbers. If yours was wrong Im sure the others were wrong too. But all of those are based on 2008 levels of participation which is probly bad for obama...realistically Obama is probly behind atleast 3 points

You don't use the highway system, just like every other american? How is the redistribution? Truman did that for tarmacs for future WW's, not so the poor could drive farther.

I am blown away that people think our government is some independent business...where do you think the money came from to build those highways??? TAXES...We paid for it so cant we use it? So to correct the Prophet Obama...WE DID BUILD THAT!!! WE BUILT EVERYTHING WITH OUR MONEY THAT THE GOVERNMENT TOOK FROM US!!!

Are you related to AV8?? You seem to have the same understanding of polls that he does.

Did you read the dates on those polls?? I assure you, REAL CLEAR POLITICS has the latest polling data to the minute.

Stay tuned. I update the polling averages as they change. As for Romney, dont get too excited, his campaign is over. It only gets worse from here. Next up, the DEBATES, then a double digit lead for OBAMA and the possible withdraw of Romney as a candidate as the GOP tries to salvage this election.

What does that equal to? Romney $2,000,000 Obama $450,000 Obama needs to pay his fair share!

What it means is, as a percentage of income earned, Obama paid a higher percentage in taxes than Romney did.

Romney made 20+ Million, Obama made less than 1 Million, and Obama paid more (as a % of total income) than Romney did.

Whatever do you mean that Obama needs to pay his fair share?

Explain to me why this is relevant on any level? Our country is going to hell in a hand basket because of Obama's leadership and you want to be concerned with what Romney's tax rate is?

Because alot of Americans think it is a significant part of the country going "to hell in a hand basket" that Romney is able to pay so little in taxes compared to the middle class. People may not understand the tax code, but they have a pretty good idea of when they are getting the shaft. Romney paints it in broad strokes for them. Right or wrong becomes barely relevant next to the perception voters have.

On a side note, I felt a little sorry for Ryan in front of the AARP yesterday. No wonder they didn't want to get specific...

According to Chief Justice John Roberts, if the government says it is all their money, then it is all their money. You get only what they decide not to take from you since Congress has complete say in how much they decide to tax. So you might want to thank the government for allowing you to keep some. Legally speaking, they can't steal it. All they have to do is decide they want to take it.

Then we would be called china? You forgot we live in a democratic nation. I would like to thank the americans who run the government, not a government that thinks they run the people. Sorry Im not a socialist
