Masculinity doesn't directly equate to sexual attractiveness to women. What women find sexually attractive is heavily influenced by fashion. When masculinity becomes prized by society again, women will find masculine traits more attractive.

That's not the claim, no one said beards make a man masculine. I said that I find bald faced men effiminate, that's my opinion. My comment was about perception, and not about substance.

I can tell you, though, I get a lot more positive attention from the ladies on my route since I started growing my beard. My wife likes the beard so much she doesn't mind that I get the extra admiration.
