We’re actually running some routes tomorrow. We’ll only run about 1/3 the volume of a normal day with the idea they we’ll be heavy but manageable through the week.

What is training pay? I've heard it mentioned and I think that's what I'm earning for running more than seasoned drivers- oh well-

So many unknowns about this h/d job-
new people start new not knowing what actually goes on until they see all these packages. Then when forced to work, they quit!- something has to be done better about this job to keep drivers-

I think more transparency during the interviews would help. You obviously don't want to scare the people off, but you have to make it known to them that they won't be working Dolly Parton 9-5 hours upon taking the job.
