I think it telling that once the Occupy movement took up the cause of Occupy Sandy, they (Occupy Sandy) fell totally off the media radar because now they didn't fit the narrative needed to sway public opinion in a certain direction. Occupy Atlanta has spent the last year plus trying to help people save and stay in their foreclosed homes and yet little if any media coverage of that. This speaks volumes about the media but I doubt most people are even listening from that perspective to begin with.

Manufactured Consent is very powerful if not narcotic.
