Impeachment, even if it succeeded in the House, would fail in the Senate.

Pyrrhic/Moral victory which would guarantee a second Trump term.

Yep. They just requested Don McGahn testify before Congress, via subpoena. Remember him? He's the one Trump called twice to have Mueller fired. Once to request it, and a second time to make sure it had been done.

Later, when the fake NYT uncovered this, Trump called it fake news and then called McGahn into the Oval Office where he asked him to falsify his statements about the above referenced phone calls.
