Drive for them ?
Does it sit high enough to not get hung up on speed bumps?
Are these vans for Amazon or are they for the sub-contractors that buy routes?
Buried maybe but not "live".
Probably a sub. They cap the driver number at 40 to avoid unionization attempts.
Should be great in the snow.
Think about it a little bit.
Seriously feed the hamster if you need to.
They've come a long way in a short period of time. Let's see:
- A solid front end for many, many retailers;
- A US society that only cares about themselves and what they can get, so as to feels like they "beat" the Seller;
- Myopic companies like UPS helping them further develop their foothold (and lug they heavy stuff);
- A CEO that has a certain delivery company in his crosshairs....
Certainly, more to come....
I say this all the time but people act like we’re invincible. With the capital they have Amazon can build out their infrastructure in a fraction of the time it took UPS
Some people think "we deliver packages"...apparently no sight (or thought) of what else is inside the portfolio
If they're right (they're not), we might want to diversify a little...
Instead they will be beached across the sidewalk.
Hey, as long as the 140lb beds an furniture and 90lb mattress’s fit in it who gives a crap
I'll keep my benefits and they can keep their ac.
Amazon's delivery contractors announce upward of 2,000 layoffs even as the mega-retailer's logistics demand balloons
That didn't last long.
They r a joke ...
I got the impression that story says that an outside company that delivers for Amazon is laying off drivers. Maybe because they have their own now?
Here's another story about it.
Amazon Is Firing Its Delivery Firms Following People's Deaths
You going to start a thread about this one too @MyTripisCut ?
