1. The buyout rumor has been in the news, possibly a month nobody had a clue what it was, including yourself, even though you’ve patted yourself on the back.

2, you’ve said so yourself the company doesn’t care what you do if you take this money and that is the truth.

3. This measly amount of money was obviously targeted towards people who they thought they could get to leave very soon because they had enough years in to retire.

It's almost impossible for me to get my retirement paperwork done in one month.

Sounds like he doesn’t make decisions based on his family. He just ballparks it. Maybe that works for him, but it wouldn’t for most people.
