Proverbs 3:

"31Do not envy a violent man

or choose any of his ways;

32for the LORD detests the perverse,

but He is a friend to the upright.

33The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked,

but He blesses the home of the righteous.

34He mocks the mockers,

but gives grace to the humble.

35The wise will inherit honor,

but fools are held up to shame"

We do not adopt their ways in the name of battle or in the name of unity. We make our ways upright then others will see their wrongness in contrast. If we act like fools, we will be fools.
You're right, what you posted is right, my flesh was speaking.

I'll be truthful, I wanted Trump to win, God knew and knows my heart, never once did I pray for Trump to win.

I prayed for His will, I do not know his timing or events that must happen, I didn't want to put my personal desires foremost.

I'm still flesh and bone, my faith is not in government, I do love this country he willed for us and if it's His time to close up this shop, it's just His time.

Thanks :thumbup1:

And they'd say "like the Republicans did for Obama?" And on and on. It's a downward spiral. I don't particularly care to stay on that ride.
Yeah, this comes up when the Dems have the power. Never hear Dems say we must show respect to the Republican president. They just about tarred and feathered Trump. Some Trump brought on himself, but that often was fighting back against the constant lies, smears, and efforts to get rid of him. So excuse me if I don't feel like being respectful to an old crook who's started his regime by calling for unity while reversing Trump's policies and cramming the Left's wishlist down our throats.

No need to show undue respect, no need to sink to their level. You identified with Trump, the team lost, you feel the loss. The dems who are without class like to rub it in. Let them show the world. We are called to do what's right.

I understand that people having different views and interpretations of the facts is scary to you. You have my sympathies.
Nope. Free and fair election according to both branches of federal government charged with checking the executive as well as 50 states. There’s no grey area, spreading falsehoods doesn’t improve discourse. Pretending to be intellectual about it doesn’t change the fact you are trying to harm our republic.

At least you are calling it a republic now. That's a step in the right direction. One of the great things about our republic is that people are allowed to decide for themselves what's true, and express it. Claiming that expressing views is harmful to the republic actually undermines the foundation upon which the republic is built. I disagree with your assessment, and I don't like your motivation, but I respect your right to express yourself as you see fit, so long as you don't infringe on the rights of others to do so.

I understand that some people find my intellect intimidating. I will try to tone it down a bit.

You are equal to the everyone is a pedophile Adrenachrome guy. Your intellect is not the problem, it’s your twisting of reality to further your political outcomes that’s the problem. Flowery language doesn’t change the fact you are attempting to undermine the legitimacy of our elections. It’s a truly despicable act unless you’re an agent of a hostile government in which case your behavior would be patriotic, just not to the US.

No peace with traitors.

I applaud your concern for our country. I can assure you, we are strong enough to withstand my thoughts on things. I mean, I also appreciate the power you ascribe to me and my thoughts, but I probably won't be toppling any governments with my mind.

Are you calling me a traitor? If so what did I do or say that would meet the definition of "traitor"? I forgive you for your wilful mischaracterization of me and my actions.

Your spread of disinformation about the legitimacy of our elections lays the groundwork for tyranny. That makes you an enemy of the republic.

Oh? What disinformation is that?

Hypocrite! The suppression of free expression is tyranny. Calling me an enemy of the republic for expressing my views is far more a danger to me than calling for increased transparency in elections could ever be to the republic. I hope no one is incited to violence towards me by your words. Even if they were, I would still forgive you for your knowingly making false accusations against me.

You aren’t calling for increased transparency. You’ve said the election was fraudulent. You are a traitor to the republic, own it. Your hatred of democracy is apparent.
