What if we had to elect stewards and no one came? Seriously, the old stewards are going to retire in a couple of years and want to step down and be a consulting resource for the new guys before they go, but I can't find anybody who will do it with me. Every one seems only concerned with their own selves and doesn't want the additional risk in being in the steward slot. I feel let down by my whole age group that no one wants to help others get through the minefields at work. I don't even feel I am a good choice ( hot headed, call 'em as I see 'em to much, daydreamer on road at times). What is the point of having a union if the company is succeeding in keeping out the unity?
