In a news meeting this morning, Cuomo said the Federal Government should dictate to states whether their schools should be closed, that their restaurants must close, and on and on.
Unfortunately, the Federal Government only has jurisdiction over interstate commerce.

It's not a good look when a State Governor invites the National Government to ignore the Constitution and dictate to States those laws and regulations that are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Socialism is weakening the fabric of the USA Federalist form of Government!

Can't wait to hear what you states rights guys have to say when states with depleted treasuries and reserves go hat in hand to the federal government to beg, bum and borrow from it in order to continue to provide essential public services.
Likewise don't expect to see a lot in the way of infrastructure repair and upgrades this coming summer other than what has already been committed to.

First it was no selling of food on premises for restaurants and bars.
Only take out or delivery was allowed.
Now starting at midnight today until 11:59 pm on April 5th, all on premises consumption licensees can not sell alcohol to the public. This includes all veterans clubs, bars and restaurants, pub brewers, and farmer series pouring permits.
However all non consumption places are allowed to stay open.
