I am trying to figure out why he would focus on two of the politicians in Texas who would have the least to do with anything related to the power outages. Not going after the governor? Not any of the state legistlature, dem or Rep? Just two US Congressmen who come from Texas? Then he uses false equivalence of comparing emergency aid, which is paid for by the people of Texas, to accepting socialism as a means of incorrectly trying to point out hypocrisy?
Only one reason can explain it. Those two represent the greatest political threat to the Democrats in the situation, and they are not letting a crisis go to waste by illogically assassinating the character of two people who would have the least culpability in the situation.
