There is no bar set anymore for preloaders our building looks like a work release program.

We actually have a halfway house program. Funny how easy it is to pick out most of them on the first day. I think the gang colors and face tattoos make it a little to easy.

I have to say though. Some of those guys are really hard workers and are taking advantage of the chance they got. Too bad most will never become drivers. Kinda hard to put a guy in public with a "brown pride" or crying clown face tattooed on his face.

There's a building out in North Dakota where the entire preload literally lived at a halfway house. The sup would sign their sheets everyday.

Well, when you are offering a $#|++y job, with a terrible corporate culture, paying barely above minimum wage with no insurance, paid holidays, or vacation for a year... these are the candidates available to you: people who have no other choice. UPS created this situation. If you want better employees, offer better incentives to work here.

One correction. UPS and the Teamsters created this current work situation. It is beneficial to both parties, but not to the members.
