34,000 to be processed for intown drivers Monday. All extended was processed on Saturday. All this in a facility designed to handle 10,000 a day maximum.

here in West Texas the increase in volume started 2-3 weeks BEFORE Thanksgiving this year, about two weeks early. We started seasonal people two weeks earlier also. We've worked intown drivers the last three saturdays. Even though our daily average is down from last year the overall package count is up.

Where in West Texas? My wife was born in Wink and raised in Monahans. Have family in Midland and San Angelo.

The volume in our center (central Calif) has been down from last years. Whats the story in your center? I know some individual routes are going out heavy, but what about overall volume?

Not as heavy as last year but we are starting way earlier than last year.. 1:15 is the preload start time
8:00 is the drivers start time

Last year at this time we were starting around 2:15

In the back they are running 6 on 6 in the unload for about the first hour then 5 on 5...
