I refuse all tips. Only poor people accept charity. Taking a tip is like taking someone else's pension contributions because they make too much as it is.

Based on the formula, 500 hours of service for the year would only accrue around $80 a month of pension benefits. Whereas working the full 2080 hours, is currently around $320-$330 a month

But I agree, the western teamsters pension is very generous

We're a union. We need to be paid the same. All our top rates are different so we don't actually mean that. We just want more money in our pension because it's not fair!! Oh and friend the PTers...
