Too many different pension plans on here to give you a specific answer
Best bet would be to call your local union hall and ask him to point you in the right direction

Do you know what local you belonged to?

At 55 you can usually draw a pension. Southern Supplemental here, could be different elsewhere.

Should be at the Normal Retirement Age (65). The Retirement Department should send you a letter that you are eligible for those vested years. Your final pension benefit depends on so many variables like when you quit, part time years, your area and hours worked.

At 55 you can usually draw a pension. Southern Supplemental here, could be different elsewhere.

If he had those service levels I believe…remember the 6 percent penalty..He could put in for those years now but he would lose 18 % of his pension benefits.

I belonged to 658 in South Texas. I left in 2003 to pursue a second career as a fishing guide. I did not get a withdrawal card.

Lot of back monthly dues probably owed because you didn’t take that 50 cent withdrawal card.

You should get a withdrawal card just in case but only matters if you start working a Teamster job again.
