Potential first job with UPS?

Brand new here. Just got hired for a seasonal driver position with UPS out here in NJ. How can I have a great chance that I will land a full time position with the company? I understand that I will probably just be asked to leave after the season is up, but did I at least get my foot in the door to becoming a permanent driver?

I was hired after working 1 peak. Make sure you let the center manager know you would like to be picked up full time. Bust you Ass! If they ask you to help someone, do not hesitate to say yes (ask for extra work). I will disagree with bubsdad here. Do not wait to be noticed. Make sure they notice you. Ask your fellow drivers questions everyday. It is like qualifing everyday. If you prove yourseld and your building is hiring (remember 6 to 1 ratio) you have a good chance.

If you do a good job, it will be noticed. You don't have to do extra things to get noticed, just do what they ask you to do very well.
