Is this a new kinder & gentler UPS, acknowledging it has mistreated thousands of past employees? Is UPS trying to atone for the unprofessional behavior of their psychopathic managers, they recently let go? Is this a lack of faith in the opinions and judgement of previous management? Is UPS trying to cut costs on training? Or did UPS finally realize they have burned through the population of available workers, in many markets?

Certainly is thought provoking. Your previous manager would probably mess himself, once he realized you were sitting in the office as a re-hire, and not just there for a visit.
