Preparing For What Might Be Next

I take your comments as an admission on your part that Medicaid is going to have to step in and pay your medical bill. While at the same time you firmly back the efforts of your party to abolish it. Every year your party wants to severely restrict or eliminate altogether what it's about to do for you. I'm sure that you know that Medicaid is just another form of welfare. That's right. It's simply MEDICAL WELFARE. But, that perfectly ok in your mind's eye because YOU directly benefit from it. But oh boy, don't let somebody else benefit in a similar manner.
All this time you've been bashing the Democrats for the obvious reason that you and the others are afraid that you might not get your share of benefits. So don't blame that financially challenged hospital for having to measures that were you're responsibility to undertake on your own so they wouldn't have so .
According to the hospital they'll write it off. You constantly misstate what I've said to the point you're now just a caricature. Why let the truth get in the way of a good lie?

If I had insurance someone would pay for it. If I had Medicare someone would pay for it. So yeah, they're going to get the best deal possible rather than take my little bit every month.

I've obviously looked into disability much more than you. Most people are initially denied. Usually takes a lawyer and a lot of hoops to jump through and a good deal of time, as in one to two years. Takes medical records. Which means insurance and a lot of doctor's visits for documentation. I never said it was up to me whether what I have qualifies or not. Look it up. Diabetes and/or heart disease doesn't automatically qualify you for disability. If it did the system would've bankrupted long ago. It takes a progression of the disease to a point they deem you can't do the work you normally do and may not be suited for other kinds of work. Plenty of people with both conditions take meds and work. Those that get it right away almost always have limited time left. Too ill to work. $600,000....lol.
How did a UPS'er become indigent? Serious question. Thanks.

I'm a FedEx retiree. $22k a year pension, no insurance. A bit of conflict with my wife who wasn't happy with me retiring but I was having physical issues. And conflict over her very angry pot smoking 30 yr old daughter who moved in at 26 to finish college but took 2.5 years to finally start back to school. Ended up living in my car for 7 months, went to Mexico, then to my dad's in Florida to help him recover from knee surgery. Went back to Mexico about a month ago, got a parasite, nonstop diarrhea, came back to my dad's. Doing yard work last Saturday, had a heart attack. And now need a bypass. Supposedly John Lennon was working on some song lyrics when he was murdered. Had a piece of paper in his pocket that he had written on: "Life is what happens while making other plans."

Same thing that happened to my uncle that had open heart surgery. He had no insurance. The bill was close to a quarter of $1 million the hospital wrote it off. He didn’t pay a single penny. I as an insured person would’ve paid more than him out of pocket.

That’s a whole lot of bad things you experienced after retiring, just curious why Mexico?

Ok.

Cool.

Now, How do you expect anyone to accept them? Or test for authenticity(weight, content and even worth)?

You do see the unlimited possibilities for fraud......right?

So, IMO.....if we get to your point.........we will be at all out war and at least total chaos here.

We have never seen war here(anyone alive at least). Most people only know gold from what jewelry they have.

I seriously wonder what passes for currency in Afghanistan? Drugs? Camels? Donkeys?

End of the world stuff for sure.....

I surely don't have the answers.....as I've invested in extra food, fuel and bullets. Toilet paper too.....I bought a home with a pool and is a stone's throw from a creek.....there are deer but they won't last more than a week maybe....we have enough food for a couple months. Not sure after that. I invested in AR-15's.....10 so far....when you could buy upper/lowers for $50 each and gun parts were still on Amazon/Ebay. Handguns were $400(Glocks). I used to buy an AR every week. When ammo was cheap....

See?

I got a 9mm with one in the chamber. If I can’t sit on the internet blabbing and playing my online games what is even the point? Being an outdoorsman sounds BORING.
