Raleigh neighborhood throws their UPS delivery man a retirement party - WRAL
Johnny Marhsall has worked with UPS for 30 years in Raleigh. He's had the same route for 25 years, near North Hills Drive and Lead Mine Road.
Jennifer Etkin, resident of one of the neighborhoods on Johnny's route, said he was a part of the fabric of the neighborhood. He knows her children's names, what they're studying and what sports they play.
"He helps us stay in the know if the neighbors need help," she said. "He is such a gem."
Johnny would deliver packages with a big smile, a wave and a friendly "toot-toot" of his horn, community members said.
