he makes the comment while a republican is filibustering against the increase. I'm not a fan of the increases but at the same time going through a budget crisis every two weeks is so inefficient. at some point they need to figure out what they can live with and move on.

I could live with them all losing their seats and a group of conservatives and libertarians arguing it out on the best way to localize our safety nets and reign in this behemoth of waste our federal government has become.

I never claimed they are all conservatives. You just can’t comprehend it’s possible to have a conservative base and political ideology present in a party with out the entire party being that. Try reading about Taft vs Roosevelt to see a more easy to comprehend split in political ideology’s within the Republican Party.
