Receiving Insurance Benefits Part-Time Handler

I am wondering if I have insurance yet. I started on 05/01/19 and in the last week I have got two different cards in the mail. I thought I wasn't supposed to receive insurance until 9 months which would not be until February of 2020. So I am wondering if this insurance is considered active or not.

Call the number on the card and see what they say. It is supposed to take 9 months for part time benefits to kick in.

I would say no, only getting cards now, so when it does kick in, you are ready to go. Did it not say anything about that in the paperwork sent with them?
