Returns at the Post office

So I am on my route and go into the local small town Post Office to drop off a package. Having a quick chat with the head Postman and he asked me if I had heard about the return policy thru the PO. He had the training the day before and showed me a sign out log I had to sign to verify counts ETC. Anyone on the UPS side heard anything about this? He mentioned the Co name, but I cant remember right now, some big mail order place/

Love hearing these things second hand from people outside of UPS...

I would ask for a copy of it to show my supervisor to verify anything to see what our policy is on this and what I should do if this situation arises.
