Call HR. Sometimes management needs a little motivation from HR.
If people would do their job and stay off Facebook and BC, management might do them right and not be so difficult. I never had to call HR or cry to my MD about anything my station did because I did my job and in most cases decisions were made fair and more often than not, in my favor.

Wasn't my style. Is doing your job being a brown noser in your opinion? Either way, its's been my experience that employees that do their job and stay out of trouble seem to catch a break more often than not. Employees that are always late, call in sick and have multiple accidents are always getting the short end of the stick. Kind of like what happens to you.
