OK. who hijacked klein's ID ?
"together to get us back on track"
"Stop it, and fix it - together - for America's sake !!! ".
These are not words that an Canadian would speak, after all his economy is thriving and including the word "us " in any statement is rather strange.
Klein, is that you ????

(You wouldn't even believe what I had to view after entering "pictures of man tied up"!!)

Catatonic

Nine Lives
The only thing that could have changed this nasty outcome today, was if those 2 parties came together over the weekend and would have came out with a statement that they'll work together to get us back on track.

But, no, the bickering starting instantly with Michelle Bachmann opening her big mouth, and the arguments and finger pointing began.
Exactly the opposite that was needed to calm things down !

All weekend long, and even more today - the bickering just won't end. Just more proof that this congress and political system just can't work together. And definitly don't work for what's best for America and Americans ! Or even for the world for that matter.

Like a bunch of spoiled little brats, all wanting their own ways and say.
Kinda like on Browncafe in this and other threads !

Stop it, and fix it - together - for America's sake !!!

It may have been David Axelrod but not sure about the timing.

Strength through joy
from every article that I have read about this down grade , the main point is about faith.
S & P no longer has any faith in the actions of this current administration, one could say that every other administration had also raised the debt limit, but honestly who waits until the last hour before making a deal.
And his speeches tonight where he still blames the last administration for his failures was the same old song & dance, a very tired routine.

Fact is, more people get killed (murderd) in the US then in Mexico.

Yes, Mexico has a smaller population, but it doesn't matter, since trinkle can't have it both ways, saying the US gives more money to foreign countries then any other nation, even though by capita they (the US) is near the bottom of the list compared to other western countries.

So, there ya go - USA has the most murders period on earth !

That's by capita ! That doesn't count, just like per capita charity money doesn't count, as per trinkle ! It's the total murders of a country, not per 100.000 !

Here are the numbers for 2010:

approximately 17,000 murders in the United States, approximately 15,000 murders in Mexico,

and just for the hell of it, more total murder numbers :

approximately 580 murders per year in Canada, approximately 560 murders in Trinidad and Tobago and approximately 200 murders in Chile.

And ours?

Like last week in ohio?

Peace.

Seems like it's always the love triangle or relationship as was Ohio. Some nut gets jilted .

We bought our first 2 homes in Copley Township......it was a new housing development from former celery fields. A quiet, kind of rural community just outside the bigger cities. Had my 3 kids there too. It was a nice place to raise kids.

True, South Africa is a mess, and it's odd we never hear any news from there, with the exception of the FIFA World Cup they had there and how successful those games were. And they sure were - I watched almost all of it, with those stupid horns, that have now been banned at soccer games.

Idiots, you are right Moreluck - this was the killer :

"the Fed pledged to keep rates exceptionally low at least through mid-2013. Part of the pledge to keep rates low is likely because the Committee now expects a somewhat slower pace of recovery over coming quarters. "

Wheew, that was close, markets back up :)

New Poll out : Favourable opinion for the Republican Party drops from 41% last month, to 33% as of today !
Dems move up from 41% to 47%.

The direct outcome of the debt ceiling debate !

You need an average of about 6 or 7 polls to get a real picture. One just doesn't cut it. Not so partisan is the "congress's approval............

CNN poll 14%
Gallup 18%
FOX 20%
CBS 20%
A.P. 21%
NBC 18%

This is much clearer a picture and not partisan. People in general are not happy with congress, period. Doesn't matter Dem. or Rep.
