Scientists? You can't trust those liars

In a new HuffPost/YouGov poll, only 36 percent of Americans reported having "a lot" of trust that information they get from scientists is accurate and reliable. Fifty-one percent said they trust that information only a little, and another 6 percent said they don't trust it at all.

Why do I not find this unbelievable?

Probably because almost all the scientist people hear are those that have decided to bastardize their integrity by becoming part of or whoring themselves to the US National government.

Not sure where that came from but I'll give a tentative "I agree".

Just that it's not bastardizing one's integrity by being paid by the US government if the methods are sound and the same experiments are run independently around the world with similar results.

As a general statement of my opinion:
Any time anyone involves themselves with the US National government, they have bastardized their integrity or at least put themselves in a position where they will most likely have to do so.
