I never realized parts of UPS actually have paid sick days or that they can be rolled over to the next year. That dosen't sound like the UPS I worked for. One contract we received 3 paid sick days and 2 personal paid holidays. You had to be off at least 2 days in a row to collect on the sick days (and have a note from the doctor that Johnny was sick and couldn't work). The sick days couldn't be rolled over and unused ones were not paid for at the end of the year. The next contract they cut out paid sick days altogether and gave us an extra week. No work no pay---unless it was a scheduled vacation.
