Smart vs. Dumb

Saw this on another site. It's was called Office Arithmatic. It is now open for discussion


Smart Boss + Smart Employee = Profit
Smart Boss + Dumb Employee = Production
Dumb Boss + Smart Employee = Promotion
Dumb Boss + Dumb Employee = Overtime



I personally don't agree with #3- at least not as far as UPS is concerned

According to management there aren't any smart employees at UPS

Our smart bosses and smart employees are restricted from making any smart decisions by upper management. Even when my sup and I agree something should be changed, we have to ask someone with no knowledge of our local situation if we can change it. Not so smart.
