I would need a really good reason to vote no and I don't see one coming.
how about if retiree healthcare continues to sky rocket? do you always just think of yourself brother? there are many who retired on $50 a month excellent blue cross and are suffering with a lousy teamcare plan at $400 a month . i say lousy because it is
why don't you just turn in your letter for management right before you retire?

If ?

Healthcare has what.... quadrupled (or more) for everyone in the last 15 years.

And, it's not going to get any cheaper. Your point is taken.

A rise in retiree healthcare (everyones) is a fact of life. The writing is on the wall.

Teamster members, that are going to be affected the most.... are those relying on their

pension as a sole source of income.

To assume it would never change, is naive.

You're beating a dead horse.

That doesn't mean I don't agree with your concerns.

My Local had $50 a month retiree insurance for UPS members.

But, complain about that in a room full of NFA Teamsters.... watch with happens.

The sparks will fly

Some locals do not offer medical to retirees. Some need to wait for Medicare to kick in. There are other trade offs however.
