Start earlier=end earlier?

First off, my job is loading semi-trailers. For my first 3 weeks I started at 1:10. This week I start at 12:40. Should I expect down time to come earlier this week or does that just mean we work longer this week?

i would think you will work longer. but ups has done this in the past to try and get the feeders on the road sooner.

Yeah, have they EVER done it in the past! I think the first catchy phrase was, "On-Time Pull Network". Was implemented on, let's see, one of the busiest days of the yr, GOOD FRIDAY! EVERYBODY was done early! EVERYBODY left on time or earlier then they ever had! "It's a miracle!!! It's gonna work! Why didn't we do this before?".

Well, duh, most businesses were closed on Friday, right? I think it's been that way for a number of years, maybe ever since there was a Pope?

Come Monday, all things went to H*** again and stayed that way til the NEXT on-time push, which also didn't work! And on and on...
