Tell H to debate

So you have lots of questions? You knowingly lie to yourselves on here to stir crap up. You want answers? FZ invited H to a debate on Feb 18. He renewed that request on Mar 18. I think you H cheerleaders should encourage H to debate Z. Then all your questions will be answered. Then you will be able to sleep well at night because you wouldn't have anything to talk or lie about. Below is a post from Z from Mar 18.

One month ago today I sent a letter to General President H and suggested we have a debate before the membership and before the convention.

I have not received a reply. The H campaign continues to lie and call their opponents names. H should stand up like a man and not a coward and speak to the members in an open forum about the issues that plague our Union. The members want answers and they must come from the General President candidates.

The members want to know about their futures. They want to know about the continued corruption in the Union. They want to know about plans to organize. They want to know about the IBTs plans to secure our pensions.

Send General President H a message, tell him to man up, participate in a debate before the convention, and let the members know what he is going to do to protect the future of the Teamster Membership.

Aw....

Quaint, little name calling.

H doesn't have to debate. He'll be in without that.
H won't debate because he can't defend his poor record.

Funny....

FZ never said a word, when (TDU) wanted to debate.

(When he was carhaul Director, and had a IBT credit card)

He's not worthy of a debate.......he should first worry about getting 5%

No TDU candidate is worthy of a debate....

When they are struggling to get on the ballot, just to lose again.

H won't, because like Z says, H is a coward

Kind of like.... How SP tucked her tail between her legs ?

Yeah, she was a hardcore Teamster.

Disrespecting a Teamster by intentionally spelling his name wrong shows what kind of person you are.

Instigoofball;

One day, you will grow up.

I'm hoping that day is soon.

Being the general president means you have to travel to a lot of things.

By "virtue of the office"....

The General President doesn't need an excuse, or reason, to go anywhere.

But, guaranteed....

The TDU "challengers" will be scrutinized.

You're right...he doesn't have to debate. It's not confidence, it's arrogance. He doesn't feel the need to justify any position or explain any decision. The officers at the two man meetings won't dare to disagree with him. The majority of the delegates to the convention will just march in lockstep and grovel at his feet. And this is nothing new! Didn't anyone have any questions when he pulled out of the AFL-CIO in 2005 and partnered with Andy S and SEIU in Change To Win. And how did that work out? Just fine for SEIU. Their membership numbers have increased dramatically since then while ours have remained stagnant. How about abandoning the 10,000 Northwest flight attendants in 2003? They had been Teamsters for 26 years! Central States? And the most recent UPS Agreement? Embarrassing even for someone just pretending to be a labor leader. And yet there are those who will just launch into their mindless chant and leap into the air for nothing more than a pat on the head. Rabid lapdogs howling in delight at the mere presence of their failed leader. Sound familiar Pink Belly? Pant Load? 5Hobbits?

You sound to me brown spider like a guy who has all the answers. You sit back from your 804 perch not being a member of any eboard or an elected official saying everything everyone shoulda would coulda done. Why haven't you have ever stepped up. Not that your constant ranting isn't helping your fellow members in local804. It's not letting you leep out of the shadows of anonymity and tried to do something anything to help instead of Monday morning quarterbacking it all from right here on this 50 thousand watt powerhouse called the brown cafe. You've wasted you long career as a union man. So many answers so little known accomplishments. Kinda sad. You coulda been somebody instead letting guys like Tim have the limelight. Huh I guess it's easier to be the dark shadows than the fat man.

You said it......ts and fz were at the 2 man meeting......they both had the opportunity to debate jh.....the both didn't have the balls to open their mouths.....they both stayed quite and agreed with the plans.......so why do they want to debate now.....back then they had no problems with any of the contract issues

That leads us to the same old story. Fred and Timmy had no balls that day. They went home and cried. If hindsight was 20/20 they could have used that day as a springboard to start both their campaigns but their lack of courage stifled that. They could have saved a lot of face but they were scared.

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.

That wasn't a debate.

That was a closed door meeting.

Not the same thing.

It was a meeting where you were obligated to stand up and voice opinion or displeasure with the contract that you had to put before your membership. The bitch mush have jumped out of Tim and Freddy that day.

I don't know which other way you cowards could spin that one.

Remember TS and FZ were not on the negotiating committee. They had 5 minutes to review a very complicated proposal. Z did not vote to accept. He did the prudent thing . After he had an opportunity to review the garbage proposal he immediately sent a letter to H and H stating Local 89 was in opposition to sending the proposal out. That is a matter of record and posted on Local 89's website. So spin your garbage anyway you want, Local 89 was against the proposal and notified the IBT before they put their propaganda out saying it was unanimously endorsed. But wait a minute. The IBT never Lies to the members, do they?

They were there that day for hours not 5 minutes. You are misinformed. I know at least 40 people who were there that very day. You got some bad information.

FZ is lying to you if he told you he had 5 minutes to review a not so complicated proposal. The proposal was widely accessible to local leaders. If he didn't review it before the 3 hour explanation meeting, shame on him. I'd wager he had his letter to H and H ready before he boarded the plane to the two-man.
Qui tacet consentire videtur; Thomas More lost his head for not speaking up, all Fred is risking is an election.
