I mean I’m glad UPS didn’t come back and give the middle finger and say take it or leave it. I’m glad they at least seemed to have worked out the issues and came up with something both can agree on. Of course it goes without being said it still needs to be voted on by us, the rank and file members.

Touche...... You are correct that there is pension language in the master also. I'm in the Atlantic supplement area and there is also pension language about contribution amounts. So your wondering is still there lol

Nope.
Article 14 of the Central covers pensions and overrides Article 34 of the Master. Although, I believe they are almost identical.

Honestly part timers mostly got screwed. Good starting pay increase (those people don’t even work here) very small increase for existing part timers. FT wage increases that don’t keep up with inflation.

Delacroix is correct that article 34 does have pension language, but there is supplemental languages also.

Generally the only difference are language such as 25/30 and out, etc. The contribution portion is the same across the board in the master from what I can recall

I am certain that if there are significant improvements in the IBT/UPS Pension Plan for those under the Central and Southern it will never fly, even if they try to sneak it through the Master…
