The real fight

As we all attack each other on whose better to lead this union, 1 opponent benefits. Corporate America,(Koch Brothers) and thier high priced lawyers paid to specifically to specialise in busting unions. When a large union is at odds with each other, we make an easy target. Example : the Scott walker wannabes in Evansville In. Trying to bust a 680 member Teamsters 215 barn in the public sector. Whether you are for for Tim or Hall, cool your heels around the enemies of the basic idea of collective bargaining. If you don't think management reads these attacks on each other and laugh like hyenas, you are being very closed minded

And you have someone on this very forum who ran for office in his local and is a Scott walker and Koch brothers supporter and that's what he wants to bring to our union.......you can have your own opinion but supporting those guys show your not a union supporter

A very moving quote from a true soldier for all of labor......... but, the "attack" that RC is eluding to is coming from within our Union not outside. This forum is the perfect example. There are a small, yet very consistent group of "serial" posters that spend countless hours trolling each thread, waiting for there opportunity to bash organized labor in all forms and all people who support organized labor. The truth is, when these so called "brothers" spew there venomous hatred toward Unions and supporters of labor, all the while showing there sick infatuation for true Union haters like Walker and the Kochs, the only conclusion any rational human being can come to is that they seek to create division, discontent and ultimately destroy our Union from the inside out. They are very transparent.
I agree with you but I am very perplexed by this behavior. why bite the hand that feeds you? would these people rather be making 8 bucks an hour , collecting food stamps and on section 8 ?

If you are referring to me you are mistaken.

I will not be backing Scott Walker for president unless he wins the Republican primaries and is facing Hilary Clinton as his opponent.

And I have not nor will I support the Koch brothers.

They are billionaires that don't need or ask for my money.

And I wouldn't send money to them if they did ask.

And I ran for shop steward about 18 years ago against about 14 other drivers. All with more seniority than me.

What exactly have you done to better our union.

Or is this it?

So you admit when this scenario plays out, you'll be a Walker backer and vote for the union busting weasel. We thought so.

I do believe we are taken advantage of by the Democrat machine, but to support a person who has made his national recognition by busting unions, thats rediculous if you respect your own livelyhood. You are seriously torn and confused

"As brothers, we may fight among ourselves. But we shall present a united front against any attack from the outside and we shall never surrender our birthright to fight against all odds in the service of our Brotherhood." - James R. Hoffa

Notice ---- there is no Jr. --after the above name. A completely different leader. Jr is a concession giver. Totally sold away any bargaining powers we had for ever. With UPS. Orion is now strike proof

You can't hurt my feelings, I left them at home.

I don't believe for a minute that he is torn and confused. He knows exactly what he's doing by standing behind union hating corporate shills like Walker. He is as much a union hater as Walker is, regardless of his livelihood. Ooooh, what will these fools do when their good union job disappears along with the pensions they worked for all these years because of their fervent backing of these union hating republicans??

Why isn't ole George Soros rabidly hated like The Koch Bros?
Because the easily manipulated minds haven't been told to hate him. Simple as that.

Kind of like how the "stop dihydrogen monoxide" Facebook page causes ignorant minds to agree to stop dhmo. Americans are dumb as :censored2: and will just follow the herd instead of researching on their own

For anyone to compare Soros with the Koch brothers is , frankly, ignorant. Your precious Koch brothers have one goal......Make more money for themselves at any cost to the rest of society. Soros, and philanthropists like him are and have been dedicated to the betterment of society for decades. He spends his billions (11 billion and counting) on everything from massive donations to universities all over the world to helping communist countries transition to capitalistic societies. Your comparison is likened to comparing apples to t-bone steaks.

Just because the media doesn't report it, you may be surprised to see that the Koch's do indeed contribute large sums of money to hospitals and other places. Just because you don't agree with their politics doesn't make them hated by you. They are hated by you because Harry Reid and every other pusillanimous with a podium to preach from like CNN and MSNBC has told yountonhate them.
