The real pandemic, that is conveniently ignored.

i agree that people do want to wear chains. the constant lies dont help.

the mind over matter thing to me may be about not letting the forces of darkness have the final word.

we sortve have political democracy. but we have a long ways to go for economic democracy.

If we were to achieve this "economic democracy" you speak of, and people still suffered, what would you think then?

capitalism keeps us in a state of perpetual childhood; where all the decisions are made for us.

time to grow up and start making our own.

No, only you can choose to stay a child, and only you can choose to grow up. Capitalism has expanded our options immensely. You need to finally decide what you will do. If your decision is to undermine and destroy the economic system that has worked better than any other in history, and you have nothing better to replace it with, then I hope you fail, because I wouldn't want you to bear the responsibility for all the unnecessary suffering you caused.

no when you factor in pollution im not sure it has worked better. you seem to think authoritarian economics is better than democratic

You seem to think capitalism is necessarily authoritarian, and that unqualified people should have a say in how resources are expended.

uhh theres way more economists, academics, philosophers that believe this than just the matrix

I'm not a victim and neither are you. Sorry.

You dishonor and demean the experiences of those who truly have been victims throughout history by attaching blanket victimhood status to entire populations.

no you just think youre free when youre not. they keep us under control by lowering our standards. theyve set the bar for "freedom" very low and you fell for it.

its probably stockholm syndrome too.

our problem is we have limited perspective, so its hard to compare our current predicament to what real freedom is like.
