the vision by the framers was that the average representation of the citizenry would step up serve as representatives of government and then return to private life.

that vision would mean the common man or woman would step up as well as some who were extremely successful in life like a trump who I assume you are alluding to. while that sounds good the fact is that most of the founders were already extremely successful when they framed the constitution.

that vision absolutely never ever meant that those get in office would make life long careers off that positon and worse of all benifit from their insider knowledge to become rich.

Anything they find on Hunter then Joe can pardon and again I ask who would prosecute Joe? “No one is above the law” is a cute saying but we see every day that is not true. If any one could be prosecuted it would of been the Clintons. Washington is full of politicians that are worth 10s of millions of dollars on salaries $200,000 and less a year. How many have even been looked into how they got that money?
