Bu bye, dick head!

He might've sounded much like any other leftist while he was here but he was still a guest of our country. Not a citizen.

seems to be struggling with that concept
You’re the one who brought up selling.
I’m saying you are still selling at a loss if you do and I’m saying the market is still down from Trump.

IMO the idiot doesn’t get points for stopping himself from single handedly destroying the US economy to the point the legislature is talking about taking back some control of tariffs.

Not down until you sell. This is a buying opportunity.
Thanks grandpa, this is wonderful advice that everyone knows.

Why would you buy at the start of a possible economic downturn when you are young and have more tolerance for risk? Why wouldn’t you buy some puts instead? Then after the economy goes down buy into it at an even lower price with even more capital from your puts?

Even if you think this new tariff regime is gonna be good long term (which no guarantee it even gets to continue into the long term), why wouldn’t you still recognize the short term economic down turn it is inevitably gonna cause and bet on that happening if you believe in Trump when he says he is gonna reshore all this manufacturing to America.

Long term could it be good? Maybe. Short term it isn’t gonna be good for sure.

here's part of the problem . We're funding columbia and other schools with tax payer money to help educate non citizens.

A data table on the Columbia website notes that the university has enrolled a total of 36,649 students. Accordingly, this means approximately 55 percent of students at Columbia University were foreign students as of 2022. Columbia has increased its foreign student population in recent years.

I've explained it to you about every way i think of. I don't understand why you're struggling with the concept.

i dont know if you should be throwing the idiot term around since you dont seem to understand a basic tenat of investing that a gain is not a gain and a loss not a loss until you sell?

imho long term is exactly how we should judge this. we have a president who's actually trying to fix a problem both sides have been hand wringing about forever. We dont even have to wait long term , we'll have a good idea if he's making good progress in 90 days.

the one thing thats also clear that no one is mentioning here is that no court supreme or otherwise has jurisdiction over a non citizen that is not physically in this country . This is a case that should have been rejected by all courts for standing
But the court does have jurisdiction to rule on the government's treatment of someone going through the asylum process. I realize that the asylum process was used by the Biden administration as a dodge around immigration laws but this guy was in the U.S. a lot longer. I want the criminal element removed but let's not trample the system doing it.

Because I buy mutual funds. If you want to buy stocks, that’s your business. You play with the big boys you take the big losses and gains.
