we all work for UPS or retired from them? there is no massive cut to healthcare for us. Sometimes its better to actually look at the details rather than regurgitate the DNC talking points.

there is no massive cut to education instead we are eliminating the middle man that being the department of education. rather than paying a bunch of beaurocrats to run our results down to 40th in the world. the money will go directly to the states.

the increase in military spending is easily attributable to defensive weapons which we should all be thrilled with. There are a lot of bad actors out there with nukes, missles and drones that could otherwise do us harm. part of that defensive spend is for the border. We've all seen the bad actors the previous administration let across our borders and should all be thrilled the border may actually get sealed this time.

and again the post you responded to talked about the real cuts I'm looking forward to through the post budget recissions . those i will be watching to see if they are effective in eliminating government waste.

you my friend are stuck in the mindset that got us 36 trillion in debt. you like your liberal friends think throwing more money into the burn pit somehow makes us better. Our government has proven time and again that they cant effectively manage how they spend our money.

The bill increases the debt. Cutting medicare hurts all of us. Your healthcare costs will increase.

Righties will say the bill doesn't include cuts to Medicare. But here's what Ben Shapiro said about it on his show today:

“There's nothing in the bill that cuts Medicare. Why is the CBO claiming that the bill is going to cut Medicare? Well, because the idea is that it adds so much to the national debt that it would force cuts in Medicare beginning in 2026.

Because it would officially add apparently $2.3 trillion to the deficit over the next 10 years, the Congressional Budget Office projects. That would force budget officials to mandate across-the-board spending cuts over that window that would hit Medicare. The legislation significantly adds to the national debt.

When it exceeds $36.2 trillion, it triggers sequestration or compulsory budget reductions. In that scenario, Medicare cuts would be capped at 4% annually or $490 billion over 10 years. So, again, those reductions, by the way, are not a foregone conclusion.

So when the CBO says Medicare will be cut, that's not a foregone conclusion. In all likelihood, by the way, it won't be. In all likelihood, it would just take out some more debt.”

the estimate is based on a 2.5 percent GDP rate. Trump administration is banking on being able to jack up the GDP with the 10 trillion dollars of new investment. the estimate also does not count in the increased revenue from tariffs. I dont know if they will be successful but I'm thrilled to death that they are actually trying to do something reduce government spending . They're still fighting the swamp and the swamp includes republicans who helped create this mess.

califorrnia alone was spending close to 10 billion dollars on illegal aliens through their medicare program. there is a lot of opportunity there to reduce fraud and waste. The DOGE effort to identify that waste is tied up in the courts..

Read the bill buddy. Read it.
i posted the bill buddy did you read it? I dont know how long you've been around here but cutting and pasting DNC talking points from your actblue webpage to here is not going to work. people actually expect you to step outside the normal political BS and speak like you have formed your own opinion based on facts.
