“As CBP and ICE agents were executing criminal search warrants on July 10 at the marijuana facility in Camarillo, CA, George Retes—a U.S. citizen—became violent and refused to comply with law enforcement,” McLaughlin said Thursday. “He challenged agents and blocked their route by refusing to move his vehicle out of the road.”

Was it OK for George Retes to get violent and challenge agents and then block their route!

Was it @Next Day Err ?

You’re such a phony

I guess George FAFO
Of course the government would claim a bunch of stuff that makes them look better.

And he’s still entitled to an attorney even if he did get rowdy with the cops. Why are you such a boot licker, bud?

Retes said the agents were telling him conflicting things, some to reverse his car, some to get out.

Either way he’s still entitled to speak to an attorney, not to be held without any information or warrant for 72 damn hours. This is America.
“Most states allow prosecutors up to 72 hours after an arrest to file charges”

Sorry bud, you don’t know the law. And if he was wrongly imprisoned, he’s more than welcome to get an attorney and sue them now.

Why are you such a liar and a phony?

Why did you try to twist this to be some sort of issue with Americans being arrested for being illegal at the beginning of this lie, you were trying to tell?

ICE must allow someone to speak to an attorney after they detain you. This isn’t a question.

Sorry, bud

In the U.S. federal system, the time an individual can be held without an attorney after arrest, but before formal charges are filed, varies. Generally, the federal government has 72 hours to file charges or release the individual. However, a brief temporary detention of up to 10 days can be ordered in specific situations, such as to allow for the revocation of conditional release or for deportation/exclusion purposes.

They just have a right to remain silent

ICE deals with civil matters, not criminal. They operate under authority of civil immigration law.

They have to let you speak to an attorney after detention.

I hope this Army vet sues the :censored2: out of them for this stunt.

The bigger question is, why did you try to pretend this was a kidnapping and ice was trying to deport an American citizen?

Trump and Epstein partied alone with girls. One of them for sure molested at least 250 minors over his criminal history. The other one said he was a terrific guy.

Hmmm
OK, you lost the American citizen being deported by ice. Now you’re onto the next thing

You must be a hoot at parties. You must be the guy nobody wants to be around because all you talk about is Trump.

“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything.

Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.

Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.

Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.

Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.

Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?

Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.

Donald: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Not weird at all.

I don't get it. If it was against the law, dude gets to sue. He may not have to work another day in his life.

If it wasn't, then there's no problem.
Well, originally his story was trying to twist it into some sort of immigration issue with an American when he realized he was called out on that he started, pretending the guy was just some super nice gentleman who was arrested and held against his will

He failed to mention that he got violent and tried to impede an investigation.

Release the Epstein files.

And ICE doesn’t operate under criminal law. They’re not the FBI. They can’t hold you for 72 hours without allowing you to contact an attorney.
