I have found when people offer tips that it is easier to take them. Some people are offended when you dont take them. Plus the time you lose to politely refuse isnt worth it. Take the gift knowing the customer liked what you did for them.

No I do not take tips from customers. If I did I would, by law, have to declare it on my tax return.

Gifts are another matter.

I thought I would make that small point clear, just in case big brother is watching.

I'm very upfront about my policy of "cash only" tips. Large bills, please! And no, Danny, you do NOT have to declare cash tips on your taxes unless you are a waiter.

TIPS?!? you mean some of you get actual tips?? Dam, I need a new route! I cant imagine someone giving me a tip for getting them thier stuff in all kinds of miserable weather!! But if they did I am sure I would report it, doesn't everyone?!
