Tomorrows earnings bloodbath…..does Carol survive it?

Management never should have settled the last contract. It would’ve been so much better to dump the union at that time.

UPS should have let the union strike, and rid themselves of them for good. Just look at the majority of the union people here. Not exactly the employees you would want.

You have inside info on Amazon's delivery service? How do you know all their stuff is getting delivered everyday? I know there are times my stuff doesn't show up when it's supposed to.
Their stuff does not get delivered every day. Quite the opposite. They also cannot make all those deliveries and sells, which is the reason why they need the post office FedEx, UPS, etc. etc… their turnover is extreme, although it is mostly hidden by their contractor model.

The bright spot for them is that they definitely get a lot of business.

we already run a streamlined operation at peak efficiency, we barely have any bureaucracy at all

we are making bad decisions
Yep, and the bad decisions are coming from the top. We no longer focus on service. It’s actually something we don’t think about it all anymore at least as far as I can see.

That comes from leadership at the top

Actually that is driven by the market. Consumers have shown that they are willing to accept a reduced level of service in exchange for free or reduced shipping.

Have you priced UPS lately?

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

According to Dave it's far superior to UPS for less money per hour.

Actually, the consumers haven’t had the opportunity recently to know if we have better service because we haven’t been allowed to give them better service.

And as far as prices goes, we’re right in line with most. Even better if you can get a discount.

😂

They have the same issues we have as far as service. Only on a bigger level and they don’t have a workforce that they can count on being there every day.

I guess they don’t really care because they have so many different outlets to deliver these packages currently.

But I’ve had Amazon deliveries even to my own house that didn’t make it on the day they were supposed to and they say oops sorry…

Maybe they should be the company they were the first hundred years with the Teamsters instead of being the company they are now
