401k in there too?
No-----that was just the taxes.
Tack on another $165 per week for my 401k and UW so just over $500 total.

Put as much in that 401K as you can afford. My advice, do it now before you get that first check. You won't even realize what you're missing. The week before I hit full rate I bumped mine from 5% to 13%. For every $100.00 you put in weekly, you would've only seen $60.00 of it.
Yeah, mines about 200 in taxes and 300 in 401k+401k loan.No-----that was just the taxes.

@11% my 401k is $200 give or take a couple of bucks401k in there too?
Mines at 20%. Maxed it out last year, trying to do it again this year. Once you get used to that money being gone, it's not so bad.@11% my 401k is $200 give or take a couple of bucks
I could do that but I put money into a Roth IRA for me and my wife also. So I'm somewhere around 20%Mines at 20%. Maxed it out last year, trying to do it again this year. Once you get used to that money being gone, it's not so bad.
We have Roth options on the Teamster one now, I think. My wife has her own Roth IRA. She's been saving since she was 22 years old. Taught me how to do it as well.I could do that but I put money into a Roth IRA for me and my wife also. So I'm somewhere around 20%

We have a ROTH through Vanguard. I like having some different choices. Honestly she didn't even know that I started one for her till about two years ago. She was quite surprised when she saw what she has in the account. We have Roth options on the Teamster one now, I think. My wife has her own Roth IRA. She's been saving since she was 22 years old. We 529's for our kids as well. 100$ each a month for college. Hope it holds up.My daughter is the saver in their marriage as well. When she first met what's his name money would burnin his pocket. He has become much smarter with his money since then.
I set up 529's for each of the grandchildren soon after they got their SSN's. $50/month should give each of them $10K when they are ready to go to college.
Wait till that bill punches you in the balls. We 529's for our kids as well. 100$ each a month for college. Hope it holds up.

Idk about the write off. But that's what our advisor set us at.$100 for each kid every month??
Can you write all of that off? I thought that there was a limit on how much you could contribute and/or write off.
NY just started offering free tuition to state schools. Thankfully the 529's can be used to pay for books, laptops and other "school related" supplies.
$35.16 here in MA
Which hub? I'm at worma

I'm finally about to reach top rate after four years, was wondering if anyone could tell me what the exact amount is now? I've heard many different answers.
Here we can write contributions off to a 529 plan on our state taxes.Idk about the write off. But that's what our advisor set us at.
He should be withholding $350+ per week for his 401k.401k in there too?
