bottom of your last paycheck + the first paycheck of the year - the first check for 2012 will give you your total hours.

The first check of 2013 was up to 12/28/12
The first check of 2012 was up to 12/31/11

or just look at the last paycheck from 2012 and it will be pretty close

If you aren't comfortable using your final check, you can ask Payroll for an hours history. They can run two types of histories: one shows check by check detail such as total hours, deductions, taxes, etc and the other will show each type of work code and the hours associated with it. The second type of history can be provided in Excel format and you can see how many straight time hours, overtime hours, vacation, option, sick, etc and all of the rates associated with it.
