Sounds like you want it both ways. Of course Trump is going to play up his meeting with Un. He's constantly attacked by the Left so anything that's positive will be highlighted. But let's wait until after Trump actually meets with him to see if anything else positive develops. As for Iran, they're already in violation of the treaty by continuing their ballistic missile development. Gee, wonder why they want ballistic missiles?
This has no relation to my post.
I post it is dishonest of trump and his supporters to claim an actual denuclearization treaty with inspections and enforcement mechanisms as giving Iran nuclear weapons while carrying the propaganda of the North Korean government when a meeting which may not occur, which may not produce anything tangible is being cheered as an actual curbing of North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.
I then say that trump’s ego as implied by him pushing forth North Korean government propaganda, and his fragile supporters pretending he has actually accomplished something based on his promotion of that propaganda means that instead of looking at what’s best for America and South Korea, trump is going to be looking to get himself a personal win or at least make it look like he did. That kind of mentality is very very dangerous.
That’s not having anything both ways. If a meeting occurs and if something substantial and beneficial to America is the outcome he’ll get credit for it.
But nothing has been accomplished so why is trump spreading North Korean propaganda oh because he thinks it makes him look good. That’s his mentality and it’s not good.
