UPS has added a new flight between Cologne and Tel Aviv as the company looks to expand its offering to businesses in Israel.
The company said that the new service will be operated by a B757 freighter and includes a connection in Larnaca, Cyprus, and a direct flight back to the German city from Tel Aviv.
UPS said the service will offer Israeli businesses direct access to the European market and quicker transit times to the US, their primary export market.
Cyprus, meanwhile, will offer connection to Europe, Asia and Africa and give the country and its growing pharma industry improved access to those regions.
